FIELD: waste management.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices and methods for the disposal of wet sludge from municipal sewage treatment plants in order to neutralize wastewater (sewage). In particular, the invention relates to a catalytic reactor for the disposal of sewage sludge with a vertical body, with a nozzle for supplying the catalyst in the upper part of the body, with the pipes for entering sludge, auger coal supply and a nozzle for removing the catalyst sequentially located in the lower part of the body, above which an organizing nozzle is located inside the body, in its middle part, and at the base of the reactor body there is an unloading screw for unloading non-combustible components of sewage sludge, and a bump, located in the upper part of the reactor vessel under a cover with a flue gas outlet pipe, it is made in the form of a hollow truncated cone, while the truncated cone of the bump is fixed on the reactor vessel downwards by a base with a smaller diameter, in which a pyramidal tetrahedral tip is fixed downwards with a diagonal of the base larger than the diameter of the smaller base of the truncated cone of the bump, so that gaps are formed between the plane of the base of the tip and the plane of the smaller base of the truncated cone of the bump; in the lower part of the reactor vessel, between the catalyst removal nozzle and the discharge zone of unburned sediment components with a discharge screw nozzle, there is an air distribution device that consists of two external distribution manifolds located in the same plane and parallel to each other at diametrically opposite walls of the reactor vessel, with three circular pipes extending from each collector through the elbows with perforations in the lower part of the wall. The invention also relates to a method for the disposal of sewage sludge, in which heat treatment is carried out in a fluidized bed of dispersed catalyst particles.
EFFECT: technical results of the presented group of inventions: uniformity of the boiling of the layer; ensuring the withdrawal of large components formed during the combustion of sewage sludge from the fluidized bed zone with further removal from the reactor without stopping it; reducing the removal of material and catalyst, their sticking to the bump during operation without changes in the pressure drop on the bump. The use of a highly active catalyst affects the degree of burnout of sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plants during their combustion.
