SUBSTANCE: method provides mechanical mounting of pyramidal containers of absorbers to the working surfaces of anechoic chambers and shielded facilities. The cover of the pyramidal container consists of two parts connected to each other to form a two-dimensional mounting point. The primary part of the cover has an inner cavity in the form of a groove having the shape of interconnected two squares with sides equal to "a" and "b", and the secondary part of the cover is a T-shaped two-level insert with a cylindrical base of the first level, having an inner centre hole for a screw element for mounting the insert to the working surfaces. The second level of the insert is in the form of a square washer with sides "c", the dimensions of which satisfy the inequality a<c<b. Such dimensions enable to form an inner lock which enables to mount a pyramidal absorber.

EFFECT: simple procedure of replacing a pyramidal absorber.
