SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Claimed device comprises the crucible and cooling system. The former includes molten pool for fibre to be drawn there through for metal application thereon. The latter arranged downstream of said molten pool comprises the compressed gas atomizers. The atomizer ejects the gas indirection that makes with the coated thread displacement the angle smaller than 30 degrees and is located at not over 5 mm from the molten pool. Aforesaid cooling system features the sizes to make the metal be hardened at the coated thread periphery at displacement through the distance smaller than or equal to 200 mm.
EFFECT: shell hardening before origination of lengthwise instability.
