FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: structural element can absorb noise from aircraft turbines. The structural element has pores (1, 2) in form of cylindrical channels, whose first ends enter the turbine nozzle box and are closed at the opposite end. Each channel has diametre (D) ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 mm and lies with at least part of its length at a minimal distance (e) from the closest neighbouring channel which approximately ranges from 0.02 to 0.3 mm, and the ratio of the length to the diametre of the channels is approximately equal to 102.
EFFECT: more efficient noise absorption.
