FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vacuum rollers to held, to transfer, to stow or to execute other operations with flexible materials. The vacuum roller contains internal cylinder, in which an internal chamber is made, for vacuum application it is connected with the vacuum course; external cylinder installed with possibility of rotation around the internal cylinder, and in which multiple holes are made, and actuator configured with the possibility to move the internal cylinder between the first and second positions. At that the vacuum roller has the first vacuum profile with the internal cylinder in the first position, and second vacuum profile with the internal cylinder in the second position.
EFFECT: roller is suitable for material handling at high linear speeds.
