SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crystalline form of 2-chloro-4-methoxy-N-[4-(8-methyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-2-yl)-phenyl]-benzamide of formula 1 
. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a medicinal agent based on a compound of formula 1, which can be used to prevent and treat a proliferative disease associated with the triggering of Hedgehog (Hh) embryonic signalling cascade.
EFFECT: obtaining a crystalline form of a compound of formula 1, characterised by high rate of dissolution and high storage stability.
