SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used in radar stations (RS) for protection from pulse, including reciprocal, noises. In the method of recognition of radar signals simulating the target, based on mutual correlation processing of received signals the signal Si(t) simulating the target is found, its autocorrelation function S i 2 ( t ) d ( t ) is calculated, the decision is made that the received signal Ss(t) simulates the target, if S i ( t ) × S s ( t τ s ) d ( t ) = S i 2 ( t ) d ( t ) ± Δ , where Δ is defined by the accuracy of measurement of levels, and τs is the time of relative delay of sth signal at which the mutual correlation function achieves maximum. The named technical result is achieved also due to that the signal Si(t) simulating the target is identified in the zone where reception of the signal reflected from the target is improbable or impossible, and also by that the zone where reception of the signal reflected from the target is improbable or impossible, is the zone located outside the maximum range of RS or outside of direct visibility when viewing the space at small angles of location. The device of recognition of radar signals simulating the target contains the mutual correlation function calculation unit, the decision-making device, the weight processing unit, the autocorrelation function calculation unit, the delay unit, the signal storage unit, the signal selector simulating the target, and the synchronizer, which are interconnected in a certain way.

EFFECT: recognition of the radar signals simulating the target without its previously known reference signal.
