FIELD: radar and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to determine distance to jammer. Said result is achieved by a method for determining distance to jammer, which comprises changing frequency of probing signal of radar, measuring time T between emission of probing signal with changing frequency and moment of detection of response of jammer thereto; wherein distance value is determined from expression D=C(T/2-t)≈CT/2 at t<<T, where D is range to jammer, C is speed of light, t ≥ 0 is delay time of jammer response. Said technical result is achieved due to that radar for carrying out method of ranging a director sighting frequency interference comprises an antenna switch of reception and transmission, receiver, transmitter, controller frequency of probing signal, synchroniser and meter for intervals and resolver. Listed components are connected to each other in a certain manner.

EFFECT: determination of distance to jammer with help of single-position radar station.
