FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the field of radar ranging and can be used in radar stations for protection from pulse and response interference. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of compensating for radar interference based on reception of signals by the main channel and an additional channel, on tuning parameters of the automatic compensator, providing for subtraction of signals received from direction of the source of interference, parameters are adjusted based on signals received in the time interval in which reception of signals reflected from the target is impossible or unlikely. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in a radar station for implementing an interference compensation method, comprising a main channel antenna and an additional channel antenna, a main channel and an additional channel, an automatic compensator, synchronization device, the main channel output is connected to the first auto-compensation input, and the first additional channel output is connected to the automatic compensator second input, the synchronizer output is connected to the automatic compensator third input, introduced is a gating device, the input of which is connected to the output of the additional channel, and the output is connected to the third input of the automatic compensator, the output of the automatic compensator is the output of the radar station.

EFFECT: compensation of pulse interference received from lateral lobes of the beam pattern of the antenna, and reception of signals in the main beam without compensation of signals reflected from the target.
