FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of plastics, particularly, to plasticizing additives to PVC compositions. Plasticiser for PVC compositions represents the mix of 15-35% of diesters of dioxane alcohols, 50-55% of monoesters of dioxane alcohols and up to 100% of unreacted initial reagents. This plasticiser is produced by interesterification of dibutyl adipate by dioxane alcohols in the presence of tetrabutoxititanium at 170-180°C. Note here that molar ratio dibutyl adipate-to-dioxane alcohols makes 1/1.5-1.7.
EFFECT: better operating properties due to lower thickness of PVC pastes base on said composition.
