FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at the thermal power plants to recover excessive heat energy generated by the thermal power plant systems during operation. Recovery of the excessive low-grade heat of return system water, and of oil supply system of steam turbine bearings is performed using the cooling medium. The said types of recovery are performed using the thermal engine with closed circulation circuit operating under Renkin organic cycle. The cooling medium in form of low boiling working medium is compressed in the condensate pump and heated in waste heat exchanger of the thermal engine is heated in the oil cooler, evaporated and superheated in the evaporating heat exchanger, expanded in the turbine expander, and temperature is reduced in the waste heat exchanger of the thermal engine, then it is condensed in the condensing heat exchanger of the thermal engine.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of thermal power plant due to additional generation of the electric energy during recovery of the excessive thermal energy generated by the thermal power plant systems.
