SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image capturing and processing devices. An image synthesis unit (156) of a camera receives respective pixel values for a single row j of an interpolated image, 1/16 interpolated image and 1/64 interpolated image from a pyramid filter provided in the preceding stage and used for reducing, in a plurality of steps, a frame of a captured moving image. The image synthesis unit (156) then connects the obtained pixel values according to a predetermined rule so as to generate a virtual synthesized image and outputs the synthesized image in the form of streams. A control unit (164) of an image transmission unit (151) notifies a data selection unit (154) of a request from a host terminal. The data selection unit (154) selects and extracts necessary data from data streams of the synthesized image, a RAW image and a 1/1 interpolated image, which are respectively output from the image synthesis unit (156), an image acquisition unit and a colour interpolation unit provided in the preceding step, and generates a data stream to be transmitted. A packetising unit (162) converts the stream into packets and transmits the stream on the form of packets to the host terminal.

EFFECT: providing image processing, which, when using high-quality image-forming elements, provides reduced delay from the image capturing moment to the image display moment, using data of said image.
