FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining calibration mixtures by photochemical reaction of potassium carboxylatouranylates, in which fixed quantity of one of complex compounds K[UO2L3], where L is anion of saturated monocarboxylic acid, is placed into each of three successively connected glass vessels, and diluted in distillated water in the dark with intensive mixing by means of bubbling contact of purified air flow. Then, under the influence of day light as a result of photochemical decomposition of complexes in gas phase released are light hydrocarbons of homological line of methane and carbon dioxide, which are diluted with air and transported at specified volume speed into line of calibration mixtures. Device for obtaining calibration mixtures contains successively connected unit of air preparation, thermostated flow system, made of, at least, three similar by size glass, hermetic reservoirs, with each reservoir being equipped with controlled light-protective blinds. First reservoir, connected with unit of air preparation, is filled with saturated water solution of potassium trivalerate uranylate, second reservoir - potassium tributyrate uranylate and third - of potassium tripropionate uranylate, and regulator of air consumption is placed on the output of third reservoir.
EFFECT: obtaining several calibration mixtures of light hydrocarbon gases from methane to pentane inclusive and carbon dioxide in air with different concentrations.
