FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of processing refinery gases into valuable chemical products and motor fuel components. Method comprises, at a first step, membrane-absorption recovery of ethylene from an oil refinery gas using aqueous solutions of transition metal salts, remaining mixture is fed to second stage of oxidative conversion with oxygen or air, which is carried out in jet flow reactor at temperatures of 700–800 °C, pressures of 1–3 atm and residence time of 1–2 s, then products of the first and second stages are combined and subjected to hydroformylation or carbonylation using Rh and Pd based catalysts, wherein the hydroformylation or carbonylation products are completely or partially condensed, followed by hydrogenation to produce higher alcohols.
EFFECT: present invention enables to obtain valuable products using simple technology.
