FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: large rolling bearing is made as a multirow ball rotary joint to receive axial loads, radial loads and overturning moments. The bearing includes an outer race, an inner race, the first and the second rows of balls. The first and the second ball rows are arranged axially at a distance from each other respectively with four-point contact. Four sections (7, 9, 15, 17) of a raceway are matched with the first ball row and four sections (11, 13, 19, 21) of the raceway - with the second ball row. Surface of one raceway section (7, 11) provided in the inner race is greater than the surface of the adjacent raceway section (9, 13) provided in the inner race and is equal to the surface of the raceway section (17, 21) provided in the outer race in diametral opposite position. A wind power plant includes a tower. The tower consists of a head part and a nacelle aimed at the installation of a rotor. The nacelle is mounted so that it can turn in respect to the tower, with the help of an azimuth bearing. The azimuth bearing is made as a large bearing.
EFFECT: increased load capacities of a bearing.
