FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: grain level sensor with the Hall effect is located close to the hole for filling the grain at the upper part of the grain hopper. The sensor housing comprises a Hall voltage generator and a magnet. The Hall voltage generator or the magnet is fixed in the housing in a fixed position. The elongated element is pivotally connected to the housing. One of the Hall voltage generators or the magnet which is not attached to the housing, is mounted at the proximal end of the elongated element. The contact element is connected to the elongated element at the distal end of the elongated element. The Hall voltage generator and the magnet are arranged next to each other to provide a first output signal when the elongated element is positioned vertically in the initial position. The Hall voltage generator and the magnet are removed from each other to provide a second state of the output signal when the elongated element is rotated from the vertical to the shift position in response to contact of the grain with the contact element.
EFFECT: improvement of quality of control of the grain level in the grain hopper.
