FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical devices for drying loose products and can be used in agriculture for drying of various crops, such as food and seed grain of cereals, legumes and oilseeds and can be used at large and small agricultural and grain processing enterprises when preparing grain for storage, as well as at agricultural enterprises. In a grain dryer, comprising a housing divided into vertical rhombic sections in the longitudinal direction with external and internal perforated walls located at a distance to form a space for the dried grain, horizontal bin in the upper part of the grain dryer, a lower receiving bin, fans, a grain drying process control system, which includes a controller and a plurality of sensors, and each section is equipped with two lower hatches with a manual locking mechanism, at that, in the upper part of the grain dryer above the housing there is a protective casing, which can be insulated, in each section between the inner and outer perforated walls there are vertically installed augers, which can be fixed stationary for mixing of culture under action of gravitational forces or equipped with drives to increase efficiency of mixing.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of grain dryer, to reduce its fire hazard, to prolong service life, to increase uniformity of grain drying.
