METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF CANNED FEED FROM WORM BIOMASS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A23K1/16 A23K1/175 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises metering and placement of worm biomass in retort packets, removal of air from the retort packets, heat sealing of retort packets and the subsequent sterilisation of the worm biomass packed in retort packets with microwave radiation. Immediately after dosing and placement of the worm biomass in the retort packets and before removal of air from the retort packets the dosage and adding to the retort packets filled with worm biomass of aqueous solution of table salt, the ingredients of which are chosen in an amount 0.2-0.3% of table salt and 4.7-4.8% water by weight of the worm mass. Sterilisation of worm biomass, packed in the retort packets, with the microwave radiation is carried out at a temperature of 100-120°C within 8-16 minutes.

EFFECT: reduction of losses of the nutritional value and increase in content of mineral substances in the finished product with the full absence in it of pathogenic microorganisms, and increase in the duration of storage of the resulting canned feed.
