SUBSTANCE: composition for canning alfalfa for the production of feed for farm animals is characterized by the following: it consists of strains with the following concentrations of CFU/ml: rod-shaped Lactobacillus plantarum VKPM V-5337 — up to 3.5*1010 CFU/ml and coccal form of Lactococcus lactis B-4989 — up to 3.5*1010 CFU/ml, Enterococcus faecium B-4489 — up to 1*1010 CFU/ml, propionic acid bacteria Propionibacterium freudenreichii B-9653 — up to 1*1010 CFU/ml, as well as Bacillus subtillis B-4506 — up to 1*1010 CFU/ml, taken in equal volume fractions.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand the arsenal of preparations for preserving plant materials, ensuring high safety and quality of the finished alfalfa feed.
