FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cable protective pipe (1) for installation of cables, such as electric wires, fibre-optic cables or light guides, comprising two pipe segments (3,5), which in open condition before installation have free jointing edges (7,9) and are made as capable of transition from pre-installation condition into final installation condition, in which jointing edges are joined to each other to form a closed cable protective pipe, it is provided that the cable protective pipe comprises a hinged joint movably joining two pipe segments (30), which guides the jointing edges along the specified trajectory of rotation into the final installation condition, at the same rotation of pipe segments (3,5) is carried out due to plastic deformation of hinged joints (30).

EFFECT: invention provides for easy and precise installation, at the same time reliable sealing is achieved by fluid medium even under higher pressures.
