SUBSTANCE: invention is intended mainly for its use in laying fiber-optic communication lines. Coupling for connection of optical fiber communication line cables comprises housing with cassette arranged therein for connection of optical fibers of cable, housing is connected via elastic gasket collar with pipes for tightly arranged in them cables of communication lines. Housing and head are connected to each other via cylindrical part of body and included therein cylindrical part of cap. On outer cylindrical part of head piece there are radial projections and hook with wavy gear surface. On inner cylindrical part of housing there are shaped L-shaped recessions for ledges head, as well as a radial recess for the hook of the head catch, as well as a housing located next to the radial recess of the housing with a mating undulating tooth surface, which is engaged with the hook of the head piece in the operating position of the coupling.
EFFECT: reducing the complexity of installation and dismantling.
