FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: production of packed pelletised or cut tobacco article comprises batching of preset amount of pelletised or cut tobacco to make a portion to be placed on the mouth. Tobacco is compacted to a pellet to be placed in the pack. Said pack with pellet is closed and compacted to break the latter. Claimed device comprises bulk of pelletised or cut tobacco, tobacco batcher to get aforesaid portion to be placed in the mouth. There are the means to compact tobacco portion to the pellet and means to place the pellet into the pack. Besides, it includes device to seal the pack with pellet and that to break the latter. Claimed process consists in making of several separate pellets to be placed in separate pack, sealing the latter and breaking the packed pellets.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of batching and efficiency.
