FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: spherical acoustic absorber, having active-type and reactive-type acoustic absorbers mounted on a rigid frame, the frame being made of two parts. The lower reactive part is in the form of a spherical structure with an inner congruent spherical resonance cavity formed by a rigid solid spherical casing, an equidistant outer perforated spherical casing connected to the upper active part, which is in the form of a helical sound-absorbing element in the form of a cylindrical spring. The upper and lower parts of the acoustic absorber are connected by an elastically damping element, which enables to damp high-frequency vibrations, wherein an element is pivotally attached to the upper part of the helical sound-absorbing element, the element enabling the frame to be attached to the required object, for example, the ceiling of a production facility, and the spherical resonance cavity of the reactive part of the frame is rigidly connected by at least one bushing to an axial opening which operates as the mouth of a Helmholtz resonator.
EFFECT: high efficiency of soundproofing at high frequencies by introducing, into a single-piece acoustic absorber, volume cavities for Helmholtz resonators, which improve efficiency at high frequencies.
