FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: single sound absorber comprises active and reactive sound absorbers located on a rigid frame, the frame is made out of two parts. Bottom, reactive part made in form of toroidal structure of hollow spherical cross-section with the internal congruent spherical resonant cavity made by rigid spherical enclosure equidistant to external perforated spherical enclosure, connected with top active part, that is made in form of the rigid perforated cylindrical shell with perforated cover and solid base. The cavity of the cylindrical shell is filled with sound absorbing material. The connection of the top and bottom parts of the sound absorber is made by the resilient damping element ensuring dampening of HF oscillations. To the perforated cover of the perforated cylindrical shell the element is hingedly connected, using it the framework is secured to the required facility, for example, to ceiling of the production room. The spherical resonant cavity of the reactive part of the framework is rigidly connected by bushing having the axial hole acting as neck of Helmholtz resonator with external perforated spherical enclosure. Space between them is filled by sound absorber. Around the perforated cylindrical shell there is a screw sound absorbing element in form of the cylindrical coil spring surrounding the shell.

EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of noise control ay high frequencies.
