FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing binding substances by burning a mixture of mineral material. The method of producing binding substances by burning a mixture of mineral material in a shaft furnace with countercurrent gasification, layers of oil shale and/or tar sand are converted through targeted agglomeration into particles of a defined size and consistency, and the aqueous component is adjusted to less than 25% and porosity of the agglomerates is adjusted to 25% for mechanical stabilisation of the agglomerate; the agglomerates have aerated density of at least 1.8 kg/l; and the agglomerates are burnt at temperature between 800°C and 1500°C in reducing conditions for the entire duration of the process with excess air ratio lambda less than 1 in the vertical shaft furnace with countercurrent gasification into binding substances, and properties of the binding substances are controlled by targeted addition of CaO-containing substances and/or sulphur-containing components of tar sand and/or oil shale are bound with CaO, which is present in and/or is added to the feedstock. The invention is developed in subclaims.

EFFECT: method is suitable for targeted obtaining of specific properties of binding materials.
