FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of producing mineral melt for production of mineral fibers, particularly mineral cotton for thermo- and sound. Insulation and also for fire protection, for substances for plant growing, fibers for reinforcing and fibers for filtering. Wastes of industrial production (38-64%) and also correcting substances for control over required composition and viscosity of melt are at least crumbled and pressed with a binding material into briquettes; the briquettes are charged into a melting assembly. Components of briquettes, in particular, correcting substances and/or other components of the mixture at least partially are replaced with grained residues of combustion, in particular, ashes or slag after combustion of paper slime and sawdust. Combustion residues have dimension of grain to 0.05 mm.
EFFECT: reduced cost for raw materials and improved properties of produced products out of mineral fiber.
