FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installations for obtaining hydrogen, hydrogen-methane mixture, synthesis-gas, which contains mainly H2 and CO, for production of hydrogen, alcohols, ammonia, dimethyl ether, ethylene, for Fischer-Tropsch processes and can be applied in chemical industry for processing of hydrocarbon gases, as well as in technologies of hydrogen-methane mixture application. Methane conversion reactor for obtaining gas, enriched with hydrogen and carbon monoxide, contains body which works under pressure, equipped with devices for supply of water steam, methane and oxygen-containing gas and product output, fireproof fettling, placed on internal wall of body and layer of methane conversion catalyst, placed inside it and consisting of upper and lower sub-layers, between sub-layers of catalyst installed is device for supply of active gas, represented by carbon dioxide. Device for active gas supply is made in form of perforated cylinder with tight bottom and is connected with connecting pipe, placed on external wall of reactor body.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of conversion of lower alkanes and thermodynamic efficiency of reactor, reduce metal consumption, and reduce content of ballast gases and increase ratio of CO and H2 in produced gas.
