FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to strengthen landslide slopes on multi-year frozen soils includes extraction of soil in the upper part of the slope. Thickness of soil layer extracted in the upper part of the slope is chosen as equal to depth of seasonal thawing of slope soils. Soil is extracted from the start of the period of positive daily temperatures, extracted soil is stocked in temporary embankments arranged near cracks in the lower part of the slope. From the start of the period of negative daily temperatures cracks arranged in the lower part of the slope and reaching the roof of multi-year frozen soils are cleaned with development of a slope towards a water-collecting header. Solid filling of cracks is carried out with filtering head-conducting material, with subsequent interrupted filling of cracks with stocked soil by compaction. At the end of the period of seasonal freezing of soils they backfill soil from embankments with subsequent compaction along the entire surface of the lower part of the slope, including cracks.
EFFECT: under conditions of multi-year frozen soils spread, with the purpose to increase their stability and prevent deformation of a landslide massif of soils.
