FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and measurement equipment and may be used in design of devices for non-destructive testing, assessment and forecasting of condition of objects, structures and engineering facilities, during the entire period of operation. The technical result of the invention, which consists in optimisation of the device structure, is achieved due to the method of optimisation of the device structure. The objective is solved by provision of the device in the form of a graph and searching in it for shortest paths according to the selected optimisation criterion, taking into account energy consumption and/or cost of functional elements.

EFFECT: invention reduces energy consumption of a device and/or cost by reduction of structural redundancy.
