FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: passive infrared system consists of an optical system which forms three diverging sectors of a detection area which are offset from each other in space, three infrared sensors, three analogue signal processing channels and a processor. Each infrared sensor comprises a pair of pyroelectric elements configured to generate signals with two voltage drops of opposite polarity. Each analogue signal processing channel comprises a bandpass filter, an amplifier and a comparator.
EFFECT: generating an alarm signal and boundary signals the moment an intruder crosses the boundary of a detection area and the axial line of said area, high functional reliability of alarm system.
