FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extruded products, particularly, to processing of product from extruder for its proper shaping. Forming assembly (14) comprises female die confining at least one orifice (28) and centred on axis (40) thereof. Orifice (28) extends to orifice outlet (32) to allow food bulk flow through orifice (28) and from hole outlet (32). Forming tool (36) comprises at least one cutting blade (38) arranged above at least the part of orifice outlet (32) for cutting of said flow to several portions. Connecting mechanism engages with forming tool (36) to make cutting blade (38) run twist several food product portions on spiral flow. Cutting blade (38) simultaneously cuts and twists food bulk flow to get said spiral flow. Squeezer is used to cut spiral flow to separate spiral food products.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished product.
