FIELD: security systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety systems in emergency situations and can be used for explosion protection of buildings and structures, as well as of process equipment. Device for selecting the size of a hole for an easy-to-discard structural element and its weight, intended for protection of buildings and constructions against explosions, includes an explosion chamber, in the upper base of which there is a hole covered with the easy-to-discard element. Square of the hole can be varied by screwing in replaceable rings, and the discardable element covers the hole in the ring, above which a protective screen is fixed, herewith the second hole is covered by a valve, which is pressed to the hole with the help of an electromagnet and is opened by a spring at opening contacts, and the force of the valve and the spring compression is set so, that their total force is equal to the tolerable pressure multiplied by the square of the valve hole. Herewith the easy-to-discard element comprises a metal armored frame with a metal armored plating and lead as a filler having at the ends four fixed branch pipes - supports, four load-bearing bars telescopically fitted in said pipes are rigidly embedded in explosive structure coating, herewith the filler is made as an air-lead disperse system, the said lead is shaped as frit while the load-bearing bars are flexible, herewith it additionally contains elastic-damping breaking elements of single action, which are fixed on the load-bearing bars to sheets-stoppers by means of the damping base with screws, and to the base coaxially to the bar a single action bushing is attached by means of a flange with screws made of a breaking material, for example porcelain, herewith the elastic part of the breaking element is made in the form of at least three leaf springs with their convex parts facing the axis of the bar, on which there is a threaded section for attachment of a clamping element of bushing type with grooves to fix one of the leaf springs ends, and the other end of which is fixed in the damping base by cast polyurethane.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of protection of buildings and structures, as well as process equipment against explosions by increasing the efficiency and reliability of operation by means of breaking elements of structures.
