FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: described is catalyst for obtaining alkadienes from lower alcohols of composition, wt %: Na2O - 0.1÷0.3, MgO - 30÷40, SiO2 - the remaining part and another catalyst for obtaining alkadienes from lower alcohols of composition, wt %: K2O - 0.1÷0.3, ZnO - 25÷35, γ-Al2O3 - the remaining part. Claimed catalysts are applied in one-stage method of obtaining alkadienes - butadiene-1,3 and isoprene by transformation of ethanol mixture with n-butanol or propanol with molar ratio of ethanol to butanol or propanol, equal (0.5÷1):1 lower alcohols at increased temperature in presence of initiator, which contains hydrogen peroxide H2O2 and nitrogen N2 with molar ratio lower alcohols: H2O2:N2, equal 1:(0.01÷0.02):(0.5÷1).
EFFECT: one-stage obtaining mixture of alkadienes - butadiene-1,3 and isoprene, suitable as monomers for obtaining high-quality synthetic caoutchouc, from alcohols with preservation of selectivity.
