FIELD: hydrocarbon conversion catalyst. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for processing of aromatic concentrate from long light hydrocarbon fraction and associated oil gases in order raise antiknock characteristics of low- octane straight-run or gas-condensate gasolines. This task is solved by providing a new catalyst containing high-silica pentaxyl-type zeolite (40- 80%) with silica-to-alumina molar ratio between 20 and 80 and residual content of sodium oxide no higher than 0,4 wt % and also containing, wt %: zinc oxide, 0.4-4.0; mixture of two or more rare-earth metal (Ce, La, Nd, Pr) oxides, 0.3-3.0; and additionally ferric oxide, 0.01-1.0, and magnesium oxide, 0.01-1.0; composition being balanced by binding component: gamma- alumina, crystalline silicon oxide, synthetic aluminosilicate, clay, zirconium dioxide, etc. Invention can be implemented with no further expenses.
