FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for neutralisation of sulphide-alkali mixed sewage waters at petrochemical plants, containing main processes for processing oil and oil products, as well as production of acrylic acid, at which copper-containing polymerisation inhibitors, for instance, copper dibutyldithiocarbamate, are used. Purification is carried out by processing copper-containing sulphide-alkali mixed sewages with carbon dioxide. In preferable version processing is realised at temperature of reaction sewage processing 30-85°C, processing with carbon dioxide is carried out to pH 7.0-10.0 with consumption of carbon dioxide not less than 1 kg per 1 t of mixed sewage under absolute pressure not lower than 0.2 MPa and temperature not higher than 98°C.
EFFECT: method provides effective purification of copper-containing sulphide-alkali mixed sewage.
