FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to continuous casting and rolling. Plant comprises line (1) for continuous casting of slabs, first rolling mill (6) for rough slab processing and production of workpiece, second rolling mill (11) for final processing of workpiece and production of strip, third rolling mill (18) containing at least two first stand (17), to further reduce strip thickness, strip accumulation device (20) located downstream relative to third rolling mill (18) and comprising at least one first coiler (37, 37') of high capacity with dimensions allowing to coil and unwind roll 80 to 250 tons and/or to 6 meters in diameter, called megaroll, flying shears (13) located between third rolling mill (18) and accumulation devices (20), configured to cut strip after winding megaroll into at least one first coiler (37, 37'), cutting and winding line (22) located downstream relative to accumulation devices (20), for cutting megaroll strip and winding parts of this megaroll strip to achieve the specified weight or diameter restriction of the roll and thus forming several rolls, wherein the cutting and winding line (22) is provided with a reversible rolling mill for at least once rolling the strip before forming a plurality of rolls. Method of rolling is performed by means of this plant.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to produce thin strips with high level of mechanical properties without using cold rolling.
