FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes continuous casting in the crystallizer (17) of thin slab (11) with thickness from 25 mm to 50 mm, with speed in range from 3.5 m/min to 6 m/min. Rough rolling of the thin slab is performed in rough rolling cage mill (20) to reduce thickness to 10-40 mm, ensuring possibility of reeling; rolling, cooling and reeling of the final product in form of flat bar, quick heating using electric induction to compensate temperature losses, reeling and unreeling. Rolling of flat bar unreeled by the said device (34) for reeling and unreeling is performed in Steckel rolling mill (22) with two mills (23a, 23b) of reverse type by maximum three double runs. During each rolling runs the percentage decreasing of the flat bar thickness in the first mill (23a) of Steckel rolling mill (22) with two mills is from 25% to 50%, and percentage decreasing of the flat bar thickness in second mill (23b) - to 30%.
EFFECT: compact production of the flat bar with thickness from 1-1,2 mm to 16 mm, not requiring high expenses.
