FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: sound-absorbing material comprises the ply of cellular structure and sound-absorbing filler impregnated with the binder solution. Said filler features the depth of 15-80% of the cellular structure ply depth and is arranged therein. Air cavities exist above the sound-absorbing filler and there under, their depth making 10-60% of the cellular structure ply depth. The sound-absorbing ply is impregnated with silicon or organofluoric binder solution and secured to cellular structure ply walls by glue with thermal resistance of at least 180°C. Other inventions of the set relate to the engine and nacelle structural elements made of aforesaid sound-absorbing material.
EFFECT: higher compression strength, decreased weight and moisture absorption at high acoustic characteristics.
