FIELD: noise absorption.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal and noise-insulating moulded parts (screens) mainly designed to absorb noise from a truck engine. The multilayer thermal and noise insulation screen of a truck engine is designed to absorb noise from a truck engine and consists of: a sound-absorbing layer of porous, gas-permeable, open-cell foamed sound-absorbing material based on elastic polyurethane foam, consisting of a polyol component A brand Spesflex NS 759 and an isocyanate component B brand Specflex 138 NE in the ratio of 100 weight parts of polyol and 50 weight parts of isocyanate; a protective visual layer based on a sound-transparent gas-tight metallized PET film or aluminium foil; adhesive layer; separating protective layer based on perforated polyethylene film for technical purposes. Inorganic fillers barium sulphate in the amount of 12 weight parts are added to the sound-absorbing layer and thermally expanding graphite of the METOPAC EG 350-50 (80) brand of 20 12 weight parts, which allows, in a given spatial direction of the volume of the structure, to obtain a set of directionally grouped polyhedral pores in a certain way, mainly 14-sided cells of regular spherical shape with a cell shape coefficient from 1.0 to 1.8 and a cell distribution range within 0.07-0.50 mm.
EFFECT: improved thermal and noise insulation properties of screens.
