FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: claimed atomiser is provided with electromagnetic drive with coil (1), fixed core (2), outer magnetically conducting part (5) and moving armature (17) to actuate shutoff valve (19) interacting with contact surface (16) of its seat at seat element (15). Such atomiser features exclusively small outer sizes. Owing to optimised sizes of electromagnetic circuit, outer magnetically conducting part (5) OD DM does not exceed 11 mm in the rotund space of coil (1) while armature (17) OD DA varies from 4.0 to less than 5.0 mm. This ups the flexibility of fuel atomiser building in fuel injection systems thanks to special modular design of fuel atomisers which allows varying of atomiser sizes.
EFFECT: atomiser is most suitable for use in ICE with fuel mix compression and forced ignition.
