SUBSTANCE: to optimise the humidity in the beehive, zeolite is preliminary sorted by size of granules and dried in a drying oven at a temperature of 100°C for 1 hour, and then packed in a hygroscopic material, briquetted, wrapped in waterproof film, and placed on the bottom of the beehive. Zeolite granules have a size of not more than 4 mm.
EFFECT: creation of easy-to-use, inexpensive means for normalisation of microclimate and humidity in the nest of bees in the winter period of maintenance, improves the quality of wintering, reduces the level of humidity, reduces the weakening of families in spring period, increases the amount of brood.
