FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: storage comprises a storage chamber with solid reinforced protective walls, in which seats are installed between its upper and lower slabs. Seats are equipped by protective plugs installed into seats on welding after loading of two cases and equipped with sampling tubes that connect via the stop valve the inner cavity of the seat with the serviced area. The storage chamber is provided with equipment providing for remote loading of cases with spent nuclear fuel and installation of protective plugs in it. The natural ventilation system comprises embedded pipes installed in the lower slab, which connect the chamber with the space under the chamber, connected in its turn with air intake devices. The upper part of the chamber is connected by exhaust channels with exhaust pipes arranged on the chamber roof.

EFFECT: seat tightness, possibility to control its tightness, and tightness of cases with spent nuclear fuel in process of storage, increased natural traction in a storage.
