FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: rocket engine comprises solid rocket propellant. Note here that the components of explosive mix are fitted in the cylindrical or conical of solid rocket propellant grain as helical volumetric sectors or conical plies. The component or components include the reaction retarders. These comprise the boric acid, hexamethylenetetramine, potassium or lithium saltpeters, boron nitrate or potassium superoxide, hydroxylamine in concentration of 0.0001-30 wt %. Additionally introduced in said sectors or plies for increase in mechanical strength are colloxylin, pyroxylin, polyurethane, polyacrylonitrile, polymethylmethacrylate, polyamides, polystyrene, styrene copolymers, in particular, with acrylonitrile, polyether and epoxy resins in concentration of 0.0001-30 wt %.

EFFECT: reduced explosive risks.
