FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring a level of anti-influenza antibodies in umbilical blood serum A; if the measured value is four or more times as much as the related level in mother's venous blood serum, the seromucoid concentration B in umbilical blood plasma is determined, optical density units; that is followed by specifying an anti-influenza antibody titre growth C in children's blood 2 weeks after birth, points; frequent development of acute respiratory viral infections is predicted by a discriminator equation D. If D is equal to or more than a threshold value, absence of frequent development of infancy acute respiratory viral infections is predicted in the mature newborns suffered intrauterine influenza B; if D is less than the threshold value, frequent development of infancy acute respiratory viral infections is predicted in the mature newborns.

EFFECT: using the declared method makes it possible to provide the more effective prediction of frequent development of infancy acute respiratory viral infections is predicted in the mature newborns.
