SUBSTANCE: method and device for cable insertion in a ferromagnetic pipe are described, it includes cable location near the pipe access point, its connection with a pulling gear made with a possibility of longitudinal movement inside the pipe, and cable output via the second pipe end, cable location near the pipe access points is performed on a drum having a ring current collector to transfer power from a power source to the cable inserted in the ferromagnetic pipe, after the inserted cable connection with the pulling gear voltage from the power source is applied to the inserted cable through the ring current collector installed on the drum. As the pulling gear an inductor of the cylindrical linear induction motor is used, its stator is the ferromagnetic pipe in which the cable is inserted.

EFFECT: increased reliability of cable insertion in pipes under conditions of long pipelines contaminated by deposits.
