FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: tyre moulding machine comprises: breaker drum, breaker drum casing, moulding drum, moulding drum casing, first accelerating device installed along the axial direction on the first side part of the breaker drum, second accelerating device installed along the axial direction on the second side part of the moulding drum. The first accelerating device and the second accelerating device are symmetrical along the vertical axial line of the moulding drum during the tyre torsion preparation. According to the method the breaker drum is held and moves by means of the breaker drum casing. The mould drum is held and moved by means of the mould drum casing. Simultaneously by means of the first and the second accelerating devices the torsion diaphragm or rods are pushed towards the centre from the appropriate first and second side parts of the mould drum, so, simultaneously same traction force is applied.

EFFECT: increased quality of manufactured products.
