SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the method and the unit of monitoring of pressure in the tire for which potentially different transmission protocols are used. The method consists in that the reception device recognizing information is configured. The device contains the reception device, the transmitting device, the controller. The controller is implemented with a possibility of configuring the reception device to monitor the first transmissions at the first moment according to the first criterion and to monitor transmissions at the second moment according to the second criterion. When the reception device initially recognizes one of the first transmissions sent according to the first criterion, or the second transmissions sent according to the second criterion, the recognized transmission is confirmed as reliable, the transmitting device is activated to transmit the instruction to the receiver so the localization process can be performed.

EFFECT: possibility of obtaining the information on the tire in automatic mode is achieved.
