FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of pipelines with diameter of more than 400 mm. The device comprises a drilling head (3) to drill a well from a start trench (5) along an installation line (6) to a target trench (7). The drilling head (3) comprises a cutting wheel (20) and is connected to a narrow connection device (8), providing for connection with a pipelaying transport facility (9), located on the earth surface (10). The connection device (8) is made as capable of transmission of the force necessary for drilling process and installation to the drilling head (3) from the pipelaying transport facility (9) and comprises a cutting device, which releases soil (2) located in front of the connection device (8) in direction of installation and transports it to the earth surface.
EFFECT: reduced width of construction strip, increased safety.
