FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive rear view mirror system (200) for display of "dead zone" (102) behind the vehicle. Claimed system comprises rear view internal mirror (1), image acquisition electronic system and power supply and actuation electronic system (40). The latter outputs a full image of area behind the vehicle (200) composed of images (101) behind the vehicle normally captured by standard rear view internal mirrors (1). Besides, it outputs the images of said "dead zone" (102) behind the vehicle not captured usually by said standard mirrors. Full image is observed in prismatic mirror (2) of rear view internal mirror (1) by the driver located there ahead.
EFFECT: simplified design.
