FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dichroic mirrors, also known as optical filters. Invention can be used in home, in car rear-view mirrors, in media industry, in particular, this mirror can be installed before photo or video transmitting devices, as front panel of mirror TV sets. Dichroic mirror includes a glass plate having a front surface and a rear surface with a coating of its rear surface with a structure of layers including a metal and a metal oxide. Layers are arranged sequentially in the following order, starting from surface of glass plate: first layer consisting of metal, on which the second layer consisting of metal oxide is applied.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of dichroic mirror manufacturing technology, as well as improvement of its optical characteristics.
